Steps in making a Party Flyer

Here are some steps on going about doing a party flyer.  The pictures shown below is for an event that is coming up in December.  This was a flyer that i created and some ideas i came up with below.  I hope you enjoy this little tutorial

Step 1.  You start with a blank page in your Adobe Photoshop and the standard size of a flyer is 4X6.  Then you want to know the concept of your flyer that you are creating.

Step 2.  After you have a concept and you know what the even is about you start gathering photo.  You can get photos from Google or any photo sites which ever suits your need.

Step 3. Start thinking about what kind of background you would like to place behind your flyer.  A Background gives and brings your flyer to life.  In my background i used something a little gritty, and grungy i thought it was cool.

Step 4. After your satisfied with your background, you want to start adding text to give your flyer more of a "pop"!! Make sure that your text is very legible because if your information is not very legible it would not appeal to your audience and it can be very distracting.

Step 5. After you are are comfortable with your text placement you save your file.  You go to file and Save as, each time you working on your piece always make sure you save your file. After you save your file make sure its save as a PSD (Photoshop Document), and a JPEG format.

There you go the Final Product.
